Summer 2005 Prologue to our Trip: After our trip to Alaska in the Summer of '03, we planned to make a trip to the Maritime Provinces in the Summer of '04. Due to pressing company matters, we postpones the trip until this year, Summer of '05. Although I am mostly retired, and Donna is supposed to be Semi-Retired, we both still have obligations with the companies we own. Bringing our son into the business last year ('04) was delayed for a couple of months while he and his family found a house, resulting in too little time to get him up-to-speed for us to be gone for 2-3 months. Now with a year under his belt, he will be able to handle things totally in our absence. We started our research in early '04, then put it on hold after realizing the trip would be postponed for a year. We found a couple of fellow RV'ers, Norm & Linda Payne ( http://www.seeya-downtheroad.com ) and Rich and Diane Edmond ( http://www.roamingamerica.com ), who made a trip together in '03. Their travelogues on the their web sites have been extremely helpful in our planning. In addition, Bob, a fellow Foretravel owner and a local retired dentist made the trip in '04 with the Foretravel Motorcade Club, and was very kind to loan us his Trip Itinerary provided by the Motorcade Club. Starting in about March '05, I began to research the net, to develop a semi-plan and semi-itinerary, searching web sites and linking the sites to our semi-itinerary. In addition, through the web, I requested and received a massive amount of typical 'Tourist Information". I use the term 'semi' because we are really flexible in our travel plans, usually only planning for tomorrow when today gets here. However, we do have a bit of a plan as to routes and the order in which we will visit the places we plan to visit.
